“We love because he first loved us.”– 1 John 4:19

  • Samson was a Bible character who had extraordinary strength but had character lapses especially in his relationships with women. (you can read his story in Judges 13-16) He started with a great purpose but his life ended in a tragedy. His downfall had a lot to do with the choices he made:
    • God’s will or my will?
    • Love or lust?
    • Flee from sin or play with sin?
  • Though we are selfish and sinful by nature, God loved us perfectly. His love for us in unconditional. Our love fails from time to time but God’s love never. We can only love the people around us selflessly because of God’s grace and love in our lives.
