What does “worship” mean to you?

“And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek Him.“ Hebrews 11:6 (ESV)
Coming to God releases the power of vital faith. Worship is the fountainhead of all power. In crucial points in the life of the church we find the church in prayer and in worship.
Worship the is the releasing point where God’s power may be manifested. A place where God rule is reinstated and where it rule is extended into our community. It is extended in the way we give, win the way we intercede, in the way we evangelize.
APPLICATION
When is it the hardest for you to concentrate on worshiping God? Have you found ways that help you remain focused on God?
Read John 4:23. What does it mean to worship God in spirit and truth?
PRAYER
Pray that the gospel would continue to be preached and more disciples would be made through the church. Intercede for your family members and friends who have not received Christ as their Lord and Savior. Pray for opportunities to present the gospel to them, even this week.
