  • In the message we learned about the Power, the Purpose, and the Priority of Jesus. In all of these we saw that Jesus acted out of love. His mission is to seek and to save the lost. Someone with power over you with the motivation of love is comforting. We can trust in the power, purpose, and priority of Jesus, that it is for our good, and to save those who are lost.
APPLICATION
  • From the message we can see that Jesus has power, purpose, and priority over every single circumstance and area of our lives. What is one area in your life where you seem to neglect believing that Jesus has power, purpose, and priority over? Share with your small group, and pray over that specific area to invite Jesus.
  • Share about which character from the message you relate to the most. Is it the disciples in the boat, the man oppressed by demons, Jarius, or the woman who has been sick? Share about what you feel the Lord is telling you to do in your specific situation to trust Jesus more.
PRAYER
  • If there is any area of your life where you need the power of God to move in, pray together with your small group for Jesus to rule over that situation.
  • Pray for those that you know who need to hear the gospel and encounter Jesus. Pray and share as a group about how you would like to to share who Jesus is to the person during this week.
