Our Vision and Purpose

To Honor God and advance His Kingdom by making disciples,
training leaders, and planting churches in Japan, Asia,
and through out the world.

1. Lordship
We value obedience.
Because Jesus is “King of kings and Lord of lords” we believe that whole-hearted submission to God’s will and his Word is the starting point of the Christian faith and the foundation of all spiritual growth.

Colossians 2:6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him

Complete submission to God’s will and His Word.
*Our time, possessions, money, spirit, and bodies are His.
2. Evangelism
We value lost people.
Because God’s heart is to reach the lost, we seek to build churches primarily through evangelism not transfer, through birth not adoption.

Reaching out to the world around us and the nations.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Luke 19:10
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.”

3. Discipleship
We value spiritual growth.
Because we are called to make disciples, our primary focus is on ministering to people, not conducting meetings, administrating programs or building buildings.
Helping people to follow Jesus and to be more like Him through the teachings of His Word.

Matthew 28:19,20
Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
4. Leadership Development
We value home-grown leaders. We value leadership development.
Because we are called to raise up spiritual leaders, we prioritize leadership training and deliberately create opportunities of young potential leaders to develop their gifts.

2 Timothy 2:2
And the thing you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.

Raising up leaders for this and the next generations.

5. Family
We value long-term relationships.
Because the family is the foundation and validation for all ministry, we refuse to sacrifice our marriages and our children on the altars of temporal success. And, because we believe God has called us to be a spiritual family, we reject the idea of disposable relationships and choose to walk in lifelong covenant, love, respect and unity.

Strengthening families to walk in godly covenant with one another.
Family is the foundation for all other ministry.

Ephesians 4:3
Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

6. Worship
Becoming a people who have a heart of worship
We value Worship and entering into God’s Presence with Thanksgiving.

Our desire is to teach and help people to enter into the presence of God through praise and worship. People who learn to worship God with their whole heart and strength will find the presence and power of God.
(People who learn to worship God with their whole heart and strength will learn to obey the Lord and find the presence and power of God.)

Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the LORD.?Psalm 134:2
