Pastor Scott
Pastor Scott Douma was born in Chicago, USA. He grew up in Chicago, Montana, and Guam where his father was worked as a missionary. While attending the University of Guam he met the Lord and was filled with the Holy Spirit at an Every Nation Church service. While still enrolled in university he went on a mission trip to Japan, where he was called by the Lord to serve the nation of Japan. In preparation to become a missionary and pastor he served the church in Guam and also at Grace Bible Church
in Hawaii. In 1981 after further study at the University of Hawaii and Fuller Seminary, he moved to Japan. He married his wife Naomi in 1984. He first served in Sapporo, then Tokyo, and in 1986, planted Every Nation Church Yokohama (formerly known as Yokohama Grace Bible Church.)
Pastor Scott currently serves as the senior pastor of this growing church and is the director of Every Nation Churches in Japan. He also serves as a regional director of Every Nation East Asia. Pastor Scott and Naomi have two daughters and three grandchildren.
